About Ty
Ty was born in Orlando, Florida. Being 45 minutes from the beach and 45 minutes from the parks, Ty’s childhood was filled with all the joys Florida can offer. He grew up water skiing, tubing, knee boarding, swimming, biking and various other sports. Ty loves college football. While his family is based in Florida, Ty currently lives in Boulder, CO. He is on scholarship, getting Bachelors in Music Theater, as well as a minor in business. Ty loves everything Colorado has to offer, all the friends and memories he’s made along the way. Sko Buffs!!!

The moment Ty steps on stage there is a shift in energy. An energy that uplifts his own performance and those surrounding him.
Since his time in elementary community theatre, Ty has been instilled with the importance of storytelling. Ty’s mentors Lea Floden, Justin Horn, Ryan Skiles, Matthew Chellis, and Lauren Langa taught him to respect and love storytelling.
Storytelling is crucial to celebrating what it means to be human and uniting people. This drives Ty in his artistry, the ability to curate a place where people allow themselves to be affected and experience the glorious burden of life. He believes music theatre is one of the strongest vehicles in his mission.
Music is the tangibility of human emotion, it evokes a multitude of feelings. Music theatre encases it all. It takes participants on a collective journey that honors the human experience.
With this understanding, Ty realizes the importance of his work. How imperative it is that it's done right, with passion, care, and meticulousness. All the work and preparation with this in mind is how Ty achieves this energy.
When he performs he is devoted to the art, he is determined to live as authentically as possible in the world created. His commitment highlights others and results in a more effective piece.
